Position Overview:
Franny Amare Ventures is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Investment Analyst specializing in public markets. This role is central to supporting our mission of making informed, innovative, and long-term investment decisions in the public sector. You will be responsible for analyzing publicly traded companies, providing in-depth research, and making strategic recommendations that align with our investment philosophy.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct fundamental research and financial analysis on publicly traded companies, industries, and market trends.
Build and maintain financial models to forecast earnings, evaluate valuations, and assess risk/reward scenarios.
Generate investment ideas based on rigorous analysis, company visits, and management interactions.
Monitor existing portfolio holdings and provide timely updates on changes in company fundamentals, market conditions, or macroeconomic factors.
Collaborate with senior investment professionals to provide actionable insights and develop a long-term investment thesis.
Prepare research reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, clearly communicating investment recommendations.
Stay updated on regulatory, political, and economic developments that impact public markets.
Attend investor meetings, conferences, and events to gather new perspectives and market intelligence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
2-5 years of experience as an investment analyst with a focus on public markets.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and fundamental analysis.
A deep understanding of global public markets, with a track record of successful investment recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
High degree of intellectual curiosity, integrity, and passion for long-term investing.
