Investment Analyst, Venture Capital

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Investment Analyst to join our venture capital team on a full-time basis. The Investment Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting investment activities, conducting due diligence, financial analysis, and market research. Roles And Responsibilities

• Deal Sourcing and Screening:

• Financial Analysis and Due Diligence:
• Perform detailed financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis, to assess investment opportunities and risks.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, analyzing financial statements, business plans, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
• Investment Execution:
• Support senior investment team members in preparing investment memos, presentations, and recommendations for investment committee review.
• Assist in negotiating deal terms, conducting legal and regulatory due diligence, and coordinating the transaction process.
• Market Research and Industry Analysis:
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics relevant to the venture capital and startup ecosystem.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify sector-specific opportunities and investment themes.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to inform investment strategy and decision-making.
• Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting:
• Monitor portfolio company performance, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and operational milestones.
• Prepare regular performance reports and updates for internal stakeholders, investors, and board members.
