Job Title: Investment Banking Analyst/Associate

Position Summary

The Investment Banking Analyst/Associate is responsible for supporting investment banking activities, including financial analysis, modeling, and transaction execution. This role involves working on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and other financial advisory services for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, including valuation, financial modeling, and forecasting.
  • Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, equity offerings, and debt financings; prepare pitch materials and presentations.
  • Perform industry and company research to support deal execution and client proposals.
  • Participate in due diligence processes; gather and analyze data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and review transaction documents, including term sheets, offering memorandums, and financial reports.
  • Support senior bankers in client meetings and presentations; develop relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple tasks and projects; ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; 2-4 years of experience for Analyst, 4-6 years for Associate in investment banking or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques; advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial databases and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
