Responsibilities
- Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and comparable company analysis to support deal structuring and strategic decisions.
- Prepare pitch books, client presentations, and transaction-related documents for mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and other capital market activities.
- Perform due diligence, including financial statement analysis, industry research, and company profiling.
- Assist in the execution of transactions by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including legal and accounting teams.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity to identify potential opportunities.
- Prepare detailed reports and summaries for senior management and clients, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Support senior bankers in client meetings, presentations, and transaction negotiations.
- Maintain and update financial databases, models, and other analytical tools used in transaction evaluation.
- Participate in the preparation and review of legal and regulatory documentation.
- Provide support in post-deal analysis and the preparation of closing documents.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related financial role.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software such as Bloomberg or FactSet.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of financial markets, investment banking products, and corporate finance principles.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CFA Level 1) or progress toward certification are advantageous.
