Our range of services includes commercial lending across a variety of platforms such as FHA/HUD, Bridge, and Mezzanine Financing as well as Preferred Equity for both stabilized and new-construction properties.
The Investor Accounting Analyst reports to our FHA Investor Accounting/Reporting Department. Requirements include processing cash and non-cash transactions in servicing application, ensuring the accuracy of required reporting, remitting, and reconciling for GNMA, and ensuring all activity follows GNMA guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Complete monthly custodial account bank reconciliations
• Initiate and review system entries for accuracy
• Validate requests coming from other departments and works with those departments to resolve any discrepancies
• Prepare cash movement via wire transfers, ACHs and checks.
• Complete investor reporting requirements
• Assist with audit requests when needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related experience working in financial/banking institutions (Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, preferred)
• 1-3 years of Investor Accounting or Investor Reporting experience
• Knowledge of GSE Multifamily bank reconciliations
• Experience in FHA loan servicing is a plus
• Experience with Enterprise or similar servicing system
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset
