Investor Relations Associate

My client, a well established boutique asset manager, is looking to bring on an Investor Relations Associate to join their team. They are looking for someone with between 3 and 5 years of experience in IR, currently at a Hedge Fund or Asset Manager based in the tri-state area. Being a smaller firm, this role will encompass a bit of everything; client interaction, RFP and DDQs, Marketing content, subscriptions and redemptions, performance reporting and full support of Relationship Management and Business Development efforts.

In office 4 days per week

Located in Midtown, NYC

Base 100-150k + bonus --> this is based on experience/background

Responsibilities:

• Manage inquiries including RFPs, DDQs, RFIs, subscriptions/redemptions, etc.

• Liaise with investors and prospects on investor relations matters

• Contribute to the fundraising process, including customization of marketing materials

• Work alongside the Director of Marketing and IR

• Develop expertise in my clients strategies in order to answer client inquiries/ requests

• Assist with and attend certain investment and operational due diligence meetings

Requirements:

• 2-5 yrs. experience at a Hedge Fund or Asset Manager in a Client Facing I/R Role

• Strong analytical skills and the willingness to help where needed

• Effective communicator with the desire and capability to speak with clients when appropriate

• Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment and handle a wide variety of projects

• Must have a high overall GPA from a reputable school
