Position Summary

Vista’s Private Wealth Solutions team is seeking to hire an experienced Investor Services professional to serve as the liaison between Vista, private wealth platforms, and service provides to manage operational connectivity, investor onboarding and redemptions, and the overall client service experience. The successful candidate has deep knowledge of private and registered fund structures and the operational infrastructure required to seamlessly interact with Wirehouses, Broker-Dealers, Private Banks, and RIAs. This individual will have a demonstrated track record of providing best-in-class client service to private wealth platforms, financial advisors, and their clients and the ability to credibly represent Vista. This Investor Services role will effectively partner with the broader Capital & Partner Solutions (CAPS) organization along with other functional teams and leaders across Vista to help build the operational and client service infrastructure to support long-term scale.

This is a unique opportunity to help build a new business from the ground up and will be critical to Vista’s future fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate is excited to join a new team in a dynamic environment.

This role is based in New York and is for an immediate start.

Responsibilities

  • Act as key liaison between Vista, Private Wealth platforms and associated service providers
  • Key driver of client onboarding/redemptions, and client service support of platform partners
  • Maintain and manage relationships with service providers and proactively troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless client experience
  • Administer prospect and sales data provided by private wealth firms and service providers and ensure it is uploaded to CRM
  • Build and manage a team of investor services representatives to address client service questions from financial advisors and RIAs in a timely and informative manner
  • Participate in product development initiatives to ensure solutions are structured in a manner that fit with the operational needs of various private wealth channels and partners
  • Collaborate cross functionally with other teams such as Legal & Compliance, Finance, and our Investment professionals to support daily operations of evergreen strategies
  • Daily trouble shooting with minimum oversight, but well connected with the relevant teams
  • Communicate effectively with other team members and manager to ensure a high degree of transparency and collaboration

Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years of related industry experience ( private wealth, operations, investor relations, fund onboarding, project management, or investor services is preferred)
  • Strong understanding of alternative investment structures, the marketing and operational elements of private wealth firms, and various technology and data solutions in the marketplace
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills – both written and oral
  • A strong sense of accountability, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, views no task as too small and approaches every assignment as an opportunity to learn.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and identifies areas in need of operational excellence with the ability to build, codify and promote process and best practices
  • Positively deals with a shifting demand for time and priorities with the ability to thrive in an agile working environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage stakeholders and work under pressure under deadlines to meet expectations

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $125,000 - $250,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other components may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
