Job Title: IT Audit Consultant

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Technology Audit Consultant to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring the integrity, reliability, and security of our client’s information systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough internal audits and control assessments of computer information systems to identify potential risks and areas for improvement
• Leveraging extensive knowledge of the technical framework and components of computer systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance
• Ensuring that all IT systems adhere to industry standards for efficiency, accuracy, and security, thereby safeguarding our client’s digital assets
• Developing comprehensive action plans to prevent potential technology security breaches and mitigate risks
• Providing insightful recommendations for system operation enhancements and conducting staff training sessions to drive process improvements
• Planning and executing internal audit procedures in a meticulous manner, and presenting clear, accurate audit reports in compliance with statutory requirements and regulations
  
  

Required Skills And Competencies

• Proficiency in IT Audit/Attestation, with a proven track record of success
• Familiarity with General IT Controls Testing and a keen understanding of its importance in maintaining system integrity
• Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and overseeing teams to achieve common goals
• Extensive knowledge of various platforms such as operating systems, networks, databases, and ERP systems, and the ability to leverage this knowledge to enhance system performance
• Ability to understand and interpret regulatory requirement language, and break out requirements into binary pass/fail attributes for easy comprehension
• Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal, for effective communication
