Roles And Responsibilities

As a part of the IT Team, the IT Dispatcher’s roles will include:

  • Dispatch
    • Receive in packages
    • Labeling and inventory of received packages
    • Organizing/managing client and internal inventory area
    • Track hardware once it leaves inventory area to client site
    • Create shipping labels and ensure shipments are sent out
    • Assigning tickets and scheduling engineers
    • Answering and routing calls
    • Manage service ticket board
    • Create tickets
    • Review and close tickets
    • Manage tickets as they need Dispatch attention
    • Manage Engineers overall workload and productivity
    • Procurement/inventory management
  • Company vehicles
    • Taking for routine oil change and routine maintenance
    • Documentation of mileage
Qualifications

  • Basic computer and operating system knowledge.
  • Interpersonal skills: such as telephone skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer-care.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Punctuality and ability to be in office.
  • Extremely detail orientated.
  • Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately.
  • Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details.
  • Client-Focused Resilience: having the capacity to manage stress and frustrations while maintaining a client-centric approach.
  • Thrives in Adversity: remains composed during challenging or demanding days. Keeps a calm and focused demeanor during periods of high stress.
