About The Company

Maxime’s is the newest opening from the club owner and entrepreneur Robin Birley; owner of prestigious private member’s clubs 5 Hertford Street and Oswald’s in London.

Opening this Fall, Maxime’s is located on Madison Avenue, New York on the site of the former Westbury Hotel and will continue the long-established Birley tradition of providing exceptional experiences to our members and guests.

Position Summary

With dual reporting to the Group Head of IT (functionally) and the Operations Director (locally), the Technology Manager will handle IT-related incidents and tasks for Maxime’s Club and administrative offices. Responsibilities include providing on-site and remote support, coordinating engineer visits, and keeping users informed of progress. The Technology Manager will oversee US-based applications and infrastructure, lead local components of global IT projects, and ensure alignment with central IT standards. Additionally, they will plan and deliver IT infrastructure for new locations, collaborating with business leads to ensure timely and on-budget execution.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Resolves IT-related incidents and tasks for US businesses, including Maxime’s Club and adjacent offices.
  • Provides both on-site and remote IT support.
  • Coordinates and supervises partner engineer visits as needed.
  • Manages vendors and partners effectively.
  • Keeps end-users informed of incident and task status.
  • Oversees US-based applications and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with central IT standards.
  • Leads and participates in local components of global IT projects.
  • Maintains an up-to-date IT equipment asset list and inventory.
  • Ensures end-to-end delivery of all new hardware requests assigned to the IT Team.
  • Oversees IT Infrastructure installation and management.
  • Completes or takes initiative on other duties needed to help drive to our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our values.

Minimum Qualifications (education, Experience, Skills)

  • Required
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Proven organizational capability.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware architecture.
    • Demonstrable experience in end-user operating system administration (Windows 10/11, MS Office Suite & Apple iOS).
    • Previous experience with site IT administration and managing vendors and contractors.
  • Preferred
    • 2+ years of experience working within an IT Service Desk environment.
    • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory Services.
    • Experience working with IT Ticketing systems.
    • Experience in an IT support role within the hospitality industry.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to be flexible with job demands and open-minded when being asked to complete tasks.
  • Ability to move or handle equipment generally weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days as business or projects dictate.
