PrudentRx seeks a systematic, quality-driven IT Security Administrator with an appetite to learn in our rapidly growing organization. The IT Security Administrator is responsible for improving the organization's overall security posture and evaluating, testing, documenting, and maintaining security solutions and controls to remediate risk. A seasoned IT Security Administrator will stay a step ahead of cyber attackers by staying up to date on the latest attack methods used to infiltrate computer systems and will collaborate with internal and external audit and exam teams to ensure the continued security of the company.
Position Details

8-5 Must be in an eastern or central time zone
Equipment and hardware provided. Interviewing, orientation, and training are conducted virtually
Responsibilities
Implement and maintain technical systems and monitor them for unusual and suspicious activity across a wide range of products
Perform vulnerability and configuration assessments of systems and business applications
Stay current with the evolving threat landscape and expand knowledge and skill sets through continuous learning
Assist with security configuration standards for systems and business applications
Recommend new security solutions as well as effective improvements to existing security controls that do not negatively impact business innovation
Participate in technical and non-technical projects requiring security oversight and ensure policies, procedures, and standards are met
Serve as an additional security team member, aiding in incident response (IR) with the IR and security operations center (SOC) teams
Maintain documentation to adhere to regulatory compliance
Interface with internal and external auditors for risk assessments
Serve as a liaison for the security team
Complete all necessary continued learning and training requirements per department and company need
Other essential duties as assigned
RequirementsandQualifications
Required
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
1-3 years of information security experience (or a combination of 3-5 years of IT system administration with security)
System monitoring and analysis, vulnerability management, and system administration
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information assurance, MIS or related field, or equivalent
3-5 years of information security experience
Compliance and security framework requirements (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC)
ISC2 CISSP (or Associate), GIAC GCED, GCIH, or CompTIA CASP+

The employee must provide reliable, high-speed internet with sufficient bandwidth (25/25mp) to execute all job functions. Additionally, the employee must have a private workspace with a desk and chair, free from distraction.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Duties are performed primarily in a home office using company-provided computer equipment. While performing the duties of this job, you will regularly sit and talk. The employee is frequently required to use their hands. Employees will occasionally be required to stand and walk.
