Who You Are:

You are a seasoned solution architect with a deep-rooted background in delivering best-in-class marketing technology (MarTech) capabilities within complex retail environments. With your years of experience, you've become adept at designing robust architectures, leading engineering product teams, and collaborating with required platform teams and key stakeholders. Your expertise extends to leveraging Adobe CDP, AJO, Campaign Classic, Adobe Analytics, AEM, Dynamic Media, and Target to define and deploy world-class MarTech solutions.


What the Role Is:

As the Solution Architect of our MarTech Product team, you will align our technology and marketing strategies with the organization's overarching goals, guiding strategic decisions with a rigorous, data-driven approach. Your primary focus will be on providing MarTech solutions that enable businesses to optimize their marketing processes, enhancing customer engagement, and improving overall profitability. These solutions should include tools for customer data management, journey optimization, campaign management, adobe analytics, dynamic media, and personalized targeting.


Key Responsibilities:


Leadership and Management:

  • Lead the MarTech technical team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Develop and execute strategic MarTech plans aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, IT, and Data Analytics, to ensure seamless integration and utilization of MarTech tools.


Adobe CDP and AJO:

  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of Adobe Customer Data Platform to create a unified and actionable customer view.
  • Utilize Adobe Journey Optimizer to design and manage personalized customer journeys across multiple channels.


Campaign Management:

  • Lead the deployment and management of Adobe Campaign Classic for email marketing, ensuring effective segmentation, targeting, and personalization.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to enhance effectiveness.


AEM, Dynamic Media and Target:

  • Manage AEM, Adobe Dynamic Media to deliver optimized and personalized visual experiences.
  • Utilize Adobe Target for A/B testing and personalization to enhance customer experiences and conversion rates.


Adobe Analytics:

  • Utilize Adobe Analytics to deliver strong data analytics geared towards business growth.


Technical Leadership:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest MarTech trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Ensure the technical integrity and performance of MarTech systems, overseeing troubleshooting and issue resolution.


Compliance and Best Practices:

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including SOPs, guidelines, and training materials.


Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: In solution architecture, with a focus on designing, developing, deploying, and managing technology products within a retail environment.
  • Educational Background: BA or BS degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 6 years in architecture, product management, retail, consulting, or a related field, with a strong focus on MarTech.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Adobe CDP, AJO, Campaign Classic, Analytics, Dynamic Media, and Target.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Strong capability in leveraging data insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence business strategy and foster collaboration across teams.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to navigate complex project landscapes, from understanding business needs to technical implementation.
  • Strategic Planning: Experience in developing strategies and a commitment to data-driven decision-making.
  • Adaptability: Ability to successfully manage through ambiguity and organizational change.
  • Digital Leadership: Proven track record of driving digital transformation of core operations.
  • Influence and Collaboration: Ability to navigate complex organizations and achieve results through influence in a cross-functional, global matrixed team environment.
