Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced IT Specialist to manage and maintain our company’s technology systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, network management, and software troubleshooting. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and implementing new technologies to enhance our business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the company’s network, servers, and IT infrastructure.
Provide technical support to employees, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Install, configure, and update software and hardware as needed.
Manage data backups and disaster recovery plans.
Ensure the security of the company’s IT systems, including implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures.
Collaborate with other departments to understand and meet their technology needs.
Document IT processes and provide training to staff on IT systems and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and recommend upgrades or improvements as necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of network management, server maintenance, and IT security.
Proficient in Windows and Mac OS environments.
Experience with cloud computing platforms and virtualization technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are a plus.
