IT Systems Administrator

We are currently seeking a versatile IT Systems Administrator to join our team as a hybrid employee in our Franklin, TN office. You will work broadly across the company in the administration and support of our cloud-based applications, desktop hardware and software, and office networks. You will be instrumental in establishing and refining operating standards for the administration and support of our company’s IT assets, services, and applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and Manage Organizations Hardware
• Support and repair of company computing devices.
• Manage the procurement of IT hardware and software.
• Serve as main internal support contact for corporate IT applications, infrastructure, and services.
• Identify and implement new and improved IT capabilities, such as hardware and software standards, asset inventory tracking, onboarding and off-boarding procedures.
• Oversee full-lifecycle management of IT investments, from procurement through decommission.
• Develop and maintain constructive relationships with our key IT suppliers.
• Onboarding and offboarding Employees
• Perform account administration, while seeking opportunities to improve and automate our processes around authentication, authorization, and credential management.
• Manage Network Security
• Fulfill IT Service Requests
• Provide data backup and recovery services
• Software Deployment and Updates
• Write documentation to enable user self-service. Use other delivery mechanisms (screencasts, training video sessions) as appropriate.
• Help broaden our single-sign-on application integrations.
• Promote and implement sensible security best practices.
• Perform your job with integrity, honesty, and a commitment to a respectful work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field of study, or 5+ years’ relevant working experience in a technical IT position
• CompTIA A+ and other related certifications.
• Strong technical understanding of Windows and MAC desktop hardware and operating systems.
• Very familiar with local and internet-based networking concepts implementation.
• Exhibit consistent attention to detail and ability to both establish and follow efficient and secure processes.
• Experience with Google G Suite and Amazon Web Services.
• Familiarity with one or more common scripting languages such as PHP, Python, JavaScript, or jQuery is a plus.
• 3+ years of Active Directory with group policy administration.
• Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with both onsite and remote support is a big plus.
