IT Systems Analyst

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and analytical IT Systems Analyst to join our team. Roles And Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and system objectives.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand current processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Define and document detailed system requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• System Design and Development:
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and system design documents.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
• Participate in the design and development of new systems, enhancements, and integrations.
• System Testing and Quality Assurance:
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate system functionality and performance.
• Conduct system integration testing (SIT) and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve issues, bugs, and discrepancies during testing and implementation phases.
• Implementation and Deployment:
• Coordinate with IT teams to plan and execute system deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
• Ensure smooth transition and integration of new systems into existing infrastructure and business processes.
• Provide support and troubleshooting assistance during system implementation and post-implementation phases.
• System Maintenance and Support:
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for systems and applications.
• Respond to and resolve user inquiries, incidents, and service requests related to IT systems.
• Documentation and Training:
• Create and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and process documentation.
• Provide training and support to end-users on system functionality, usage, and best practices.
• Ensure documentation is kept up-to-date with system changes, enhancements, and configurations.
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience as an IT Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in IT systems development and implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
• Proficiency in system analysis methodologies, requirements gathering, and documentation practices.
• Experience with system design, development lifecycle, and software testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, databases, and cloud technologies.
