Job Overview: As an IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our IT network infrastructure, maintaining our hardware, and overall troubleshooting of IT problems. You will work closely with other technicians to ensure seamless network operations and provide technical support to end-users. Your expertise will be vital in supporting our mission to deliver exceptional service and reliability.

You will work closely with other technicians to ensure seamless network operations and provide technical support to end-users. Key Responsibilities:
- Network Maintenance and Support:
- Monitor and manage network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Perform regular network maintenance, including updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems and performance bottlenecks.
- Configuration and Installation:
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Set up and support network components, including VPNs, LANs, and WANs.
- Security Management:
- Implement and monitor network security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and incidents.
- Prepare and present reports on network performance, issues, and resolutions.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to end-users for network-related issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of network-related policies and procedures.
- Collaboration and Training:
- Work closely with other IT staff to coordinate network upgrades and improvements.
- Assist in training end-users on network-related best practices and tools
- Location: Atlantic City
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or similar are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration or IT support.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and network hardware.
- Proficiency in network configuration and troubleshooting tools.
- Experience with network security practices and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Windows and Linux.
- Traveling to client's sites for installations HW / SW.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).
- Familiarity with cloud services and virtualized network environments.
- Knowledge of scripting languages for network automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
