Software Technician Job Description

Key Responsibilities Include
Develop sever backend and frontend web application and data processing software.
Create and maintain software typically in Java, Java Web (Glassfish) and Python.
Interface with and manage large MySQL databases.
Manage and optimize group of local database and webapp servers.
Work with key stakeholders to develop new requirements and features.
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree in software or related technical field.
Proficiency in developing web software in Java and Python scripting for deployment on Linux platforms.
Proficiency with MySQL queries and database table design.
Proficiency with source code control using git.
Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise documentation spanning requirements capture, system descriptions, and concise test plans.
Ability to perform code reviews and software testing of other team members' code.
Ability to communicate using local language
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor/Associate degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical field.
Work experience developing software in Java (Glassfish) and Python for deployment on both Linux and Windows platforms.
Experience working with Linux servers, and MySQL database systems.
