Base pay range
We are looking for a Jr. Account Executive with an entrepreneurial spirit who embodies the core values and traits of Lacoste. The Wholesale Jr. AE will be responsible for the selling, service and management of Lacoste product lines across Textiles, Footwear & SLG, to a select list of Department Store and Lifestyle accounts in the U.S.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Execute sales plans and brand strategy for assigned accounts
- Maintains exceptional relationships with all key accounts and acts as a brand ambassador by providing merchandising, product knowledge and other selling tools
- Collaborates with internal Lacoste partners to ensure that the brand is properly presented in each market to maximize sales performance
- Manages order placement, and inventory management for each assigned account
- Support Account Managers for Textiles/Footwear/SLG’s for achievement of financial goals, including sales and gross margin targets by account
- Provide assistance for seasonal market appointments – sample management, line sheet prep & distro, order entry and account follow-up
- Digital asset/sample management – ensure all images, copy and features & benefits are provided to each account as requested
- Assist in day-to-day operations, including orderbook management, PO tracking, and other customer service follow-ups
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role working with major department stores
- Prior relationships with various department stores preferred (Macy’s, Dillard’s, etc)
- Strong organizational, analytical and time-management skills
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint). Must be able to compile large volumes of data on a spreadsheet with a high degree of accuracy
- Detail oriented; Must be able to work autonomously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible, and able to quickly adapt in an ever-changing environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- College degree preferred
