The Jr Energy Consultant is responsible for travelling to prospect residences to qualify lead prospects and make appointments, in furtherance of making sales of residential solar systems. The Jr Energy Consultants are expected to participate in each stage of the sales process. Appointment Setters are outside sales employees paid on commission basis for sales made by the Jr Energy Consultant.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualify lead prospects and convert them into appointments, and ultimately sales
Participate in each stage of sales process
Travel to prospect residences to set and keep sales appointments
Maintain minimum performance standards
Attend team meetings
Maintain responsiveness with prospects and peers
Maintain a high level of professionalism with both prospects and peers
Comply with all laws and regulations applicable to the position and the solar industry
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements
Education & Certifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience
Some Sales experience preferred but not required

Strong written and verbal communication skills
