We’ve created the first-ever PMS supplement, FLO Vitamins, designed to make periods and the symptoms that come with them more tolerable. Your Role

The Jr. Graphic Designer is an essential part of the Creative Team, working closely with the Art Director and Graphic Designers to support all Marketing, eCommerce and overall Brand goals. You will develop and execute a wide range of marketing and branded materials that are thoughtful, conversion-driven, conceptually strong, eye-catching aesthetic our fanbase has come to love. You will design Ads, Web Pages, Emails, Print Collateral, Packaging, and Digital Banners.

We’re looking for someone with a strong sense of visual design principles and an insatiable appetite to learn and grow in their role. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, consistent, and can make sure projects are executed within deadlines. As the Jr. Graphic Designer, you’ll work closely with the Art Director and the Creative Team. Your work will drive direct, measurable growth for the business. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and startup culture, and is excited to set and meet aggressive goals.

The Jr. Graphic Designer reports to the Art Director and will work closely with O Positiv’s marketing team to further expand our marketing program and develop our products and brand.

Candidates must present an online portfolio showcasing their creativity, design skills, and attention to detail to be considered for the role.

Responsibilities and Duties

Design:

• Strong knowledge of design principles including visual hierarchy, negative space, repetition, contrast, balance and alignment, proportion, typography and color theory.
• Design engaging branded materials, including: Web Pages, Digital Banners, Email Marketing Campaigns, Print Collateral, and Packaging.
• Support the Art Director and Digital Designers in the ideation and creation process of all marketing materials.
• Work with cross-functional team to design and implement seasonal website updates and landing page experiences for marketing campaigns and conversion rate optimization
• Stay up to date on the latest trends, curate strong design taste, and develop best practices within an ever-evolving digital marketing landscape
• Learn and grow in this role, be flexible when receiving feedback, and design to brand and marketing goals.

Project Management:

• Keep project goals at the center of design work and make actionable steps to achieve these goals
• Work well under tight deadlines, fast paced environment, and changing demands
• Experience giving and receiving feedback, and flexibility in design approach and processes

Qualifications and Skills

Work Experience:

• 1+ years of experience in marketing, advertising and/or creative design roles
• Skilled in Digital Design with emphasis on Ad and Email Campaigns
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (experience with Figma a plus)
• Ability to align with O Positiv’s visual brand identity and aesthetic
• Strong portfolio of design work
• Expertise in social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Tik-Tok and Pinterest
• Bachelor’s Degree and equivalent work experience

Interpersonal:

• Passion for art and design, always looking for ways to refine taste and improve skills
• Curious, thoughtful, self-reflective and a strong willingness to learn
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Team-player, collaborative, hard-working, organized, and goal-oriented
• Excitement for startups and building from the ground up

Additional Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Startup and/or e-commerce experience is a plus
• Passion for e-commerce, consumer retail and / or digital marketing is a plus

Hours and Compensation

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $65,000 - $80,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local market rates.

• Position will be based out of Santa Monica, Los Angeles - in person (Mon-Thurs in office/Friday remote)
