We are seeking 2 Junior Electrical Engineers to join our Fortune 500 Team! The Junior Engineer must have knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and electrical equipment layouts as well as, knowledge & application of NEC code and ANSI/IEEE Standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineer (Recently graduated)
Proficient experience in: Microsoft Office Suite programs, Understanding engineering discipline drawings and system calculations such as short circuits and load-flow, and Ability to size equipment and perform cable sizing calculations.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and apply methods and techniques to develop electrical installation and commissioning procedures implementing standard engineering criteria.
Review electrical engineering designs, including single-line diagrams, schematic diagrams, connection diagrams, protection schemes, equipment tree line diagrams, load lists, etc
Basic knowledge of main power plant electrical components, such as power and distribution transformers, control transformers, current transformers, generators, Automatic Voltage Regulators, static frequency converters, generator protection panels, and other auxiliary equipment.
Basic knowledge of gas turbine control, governor for speed control, main instruments and control loops, and auxiliary gas turbine equipment.
Ensures electrical system designs comply with all applicable installation codes, regulations, and standards.
