Supports non-tactical data collection for inclusion in technical packages, technical manuals, technical instructions, and related project engineering documentation. Works as part of a larger team and provides direct support to senior engineering staff.
Job Requirement/Primary Responsibilities
Design and develop tests and test requirements for products, systems, software and/or related components and equipment
Review and comment on technical data package artifacts (e.g. drawings, wire diagrams, etc.)
Materially participate in configuration change management processes.
Define data requirements and collects artifacts meeting the requirements
Validate engineering data for inclusion in technical publications
May participate in quality assurance plan development
Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned
Participate in special projects as required
Hands on experience in the configuration, testing, and analysis of modern server-based systems
Travel 20%
Experience:
bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline
1-3 years of related experience in testing, engineering, or quality assurance
Skills And Abilities
Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills to interface with Project Managers and other team members
Must be detail-oriented and have excellent verbal communication skills.
Should be proactive, a self-starter and a past history of demonstrating initiative.
Past Experience In The Government Acquisition Environment Preferred.
Specific skill sets as follows:
Capable of monitoring/addressing schedule compliance
Proficient in WORD and Excel
Able to work in an IPT environment

Security Clearance (Secret) eligibility REQUIRED.

Salary Range - $65,000 to $77,000
