Job Summary

As a Junior Financial Analyst in Financial Operations and Risk, you will support the finance team in analyzing financial data, assessing financial risks, and ensuring smooth financial operations. You will work closely with senior analysts and managers to provide insights that drive strategic decisions and maintain financial health. Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze financial data to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate financial risks and assist in developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on financial performance, risk assessments, and operational efficiency to senior management.
  • Financial Operations: Support daily financial operations including reconciliations, transaction processing, and maintaining financial records.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Assist in internal and external audits.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and assist in implementing more efficient procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work with various departments to gather financial information and provide analytical support for decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or risk management is preferred. Internships or academic projects related to financial analysis will be considered.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of financial statements, risk management principles, and financial regulations.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders.
