Key Responsibilities
- Risk Analysis: Assist in the identification, assessment, and monitoring of financial risks. Analyze data to evaluate the potential impact of risks on financial performance.
- Data Collection: Gather and organize financial data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on risk assessments, including trends and insights. Help in the development of risk management reports and presentations.
- Modeling: Support the creation and maintenance of risk models and scenarios to predict potential financial impacts.
- Compliance: Ensure that risk management practices comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including finance, compliance, and operations, to understand risk factors and develop mitigation strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of risk management processes and procedures. Ensure that all risk management activities are properly recorded and tracked.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of risk management processes and methodologies. Identify opportunities for enhancing risk assessment techniques and tools.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis, risk management, or a related area.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools. Experience with risk management software is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex risk issues.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across various departments.
