Job Description

As a Junior Financial Analyst - Treasury at Augmentjobs, you will play a vital role in managing the company's financial assets, optimizing liquidity, and ensuring effective risk management. You will work closely with senior analysts and treasury managers to support daily treasury operations, financial analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cash Management: Assist in monitoring and managing daily cash positions to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
  • Forecasting: Contribute to cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning by analyzing historical trends and future cash needs.
  • Bank Relationships: Support the maintenance of banking relationships and assist in negotiating terms and conditions with financial institutions.
  • Investment Analysis: Aid in evaluating investment opportunities and optimizing the company’s investment portfolio.
  • Risk Management: Assist in identifying and managing financial risks, including interest rate and foreign exchange risks.
  • Reporting: Prepare and analyze treasury reports, including cash position reports, bank reconciliations, and financial forecasts.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements related to treasury functions.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update financial databases and systems to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as accounting, finance, and procurement to support overall financial goals.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in treasury, finance, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and treasury management systems.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to team goals.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as CFA, CTP, or CPA are advantageous.
