Manufacturing Engineer Compensation And Benefits

• Pay – $90,000 annually

Manufacturing Engineer Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen, VSM, and Six Sigma)
• Strong understanding of the automotive processes and principles
• Excellent Microsoft Office Suite Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
• Able to pass a drug test and background check
  
  

Experience – 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in recondition or remanufacturing operations

Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement efficient manufacturing processes for the recondition of vehicles
• Lead initiatives to implement Lean manufacturing techniques, such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Kanban, to streamline refurbishment operations.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize existing processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Develop and maintain detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation
• Train and mentor production staff on new and existing processes, tools, and technologies Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues
