Position Overview:
The Junior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for assisting new development design and evaluation with attention to strength, thermal restriction, controllability, efficiency of assembly, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design robotics hardware to achieve high-performance robot
Incorporate with both electrical and software requirements development to achieve optimal robot assembly configurations
Bachelor's degree in an mechanical engineering discipline
1+ years of relevant experience in the design, analysis and manufacturing of electro-mechanical systems, mechanisms (internship and extracurricular experience is applicable)
Experience of mechanical CAD
Experience of mechanical drawing
Hands-on skills with mechanical assembly, testing, etc.
Physical capacity to independently lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds
Ability to work on weekends as necessary, depending on the work schedule, underscoring the importance of flexibility and adaptability in our team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in designing space related hardware (satellites, rovers, etc.)
Experience in designing robots
