Oak Hall School is seeking an exceptional coach and leader to serve as a Coach for our Junior Varsity Girls Volleyball program. Oak Hall has a long history of success in volleyball at a championship level, and we now have a need for a coach who desires to continue, and build upon, this tradition of success and work with young players to help them develop their skills and grow as both volleyball players and student athletes.

Under the supervision of the Director of Athletics and the Head Volleyball Coach, this Coach will contribute to and support all aspects of building, growing and maintaining a highly competitive junior varsity volleyball program, by promoting a positive team environment that ensures high levels of growth and learning for all athletes. As an active and collaborative member of the Athletic Department, and the greater Oak Hall community, this Coach will serve as a mentor for their athletes, and model outstanding sportsmanship and respect for opposing competitors and teams.

Significant athletic and competitive experience in volleyball, and experience coaching middle school or high school level volleyball, is preferred. In addition to having a strong base of knowledge and passion for volleyball and for the student-athlete experience, the ideal candidate will also possess an understanding of the social/emotional needs of middle and upper school-aged athletes and be fluent in different ways to communicate with and motivate athletes of varying skill levels and abilities. The Junior Varsity Coach must have previous playing or coaching experience and have afternoon and evening availability. Possible additional opportunities to serve as an assistant varsity coach may exist based on qualifications and availability.
