Job Description
Are you a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist passionate about making a difference in students' lives? We are seeking a committed professional to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This role offers a unique blend of in-person and remote work options, providing a balanced and dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to determine students' needs and eligibility for special education services.
Perform classroom observations to identify behavioral and learning challenges.
Develop and implement effective intervention strategies to support students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students as required.
Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Offer consultation services to teachers and parents on various topics, including classroom management, learning techniques, and mental health concerns.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and consultations.
Qualifications
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
Valid certification/license as a School Psychologist in Virginia.
Prior Experience In An Educational Setting Preferred.
Proficiency in psychological assessment tools and methodologies.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Comfortable using technology for remote assessments and consultations.
