We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented K-2 Math Curriculum Development Specialist contractors to join our team for upcoming projects. As a Math Curriculum Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating and refining educational resources for both students and teachers. Essential Functions
Content Creation and Editing: Write, edit, and revise K-2 math content to ensure it meets project specifications and client guidelines.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all submitted materials are accurate, consistent, and adhere to the specified standards.
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with project team members to ensure project goals are met.
Professionalism: Maintain a calm and professional demeanor, even under pressure, to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications
Educational Expertise: Deep knowledge and understanding of standards, student abilities, and appropriate content for K-2 math.
Writing Skills: Proven ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging written content with excellent command of grammar, punctuation, and style.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with current software and file-sharing platforms.
Adaptability: Ability to follow client guidelines and specifications, which may evolve throughout the project.
Time Management: Ability to meet all agreed-upon deadlines.
Independence: Ability to work independently and reference multiple documents to synthesize information effectively.
Education and Experience
Experience: Demonstrated experience in developing or teaching K-2 math content is required.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
Publishing Experience: Previous educational publishing experience is a plus.
