Overview LDRN – Labor Delivery And Recovery Nurse

This position includes a full range of patient support to include everything from childbirth and lactation education to monitoring vital signs, assisting with medical procedures and offering emotional support. Status - PRN
Compensation: $31.28 - $43.80/hour DOE PRN Differential Pay (evening, night and weekend shift differential pay)
There is no deadline to apply for this position; we are accepting applications on an ongoing basis until a finalist is selected.

Medical, dental, vision, health care FSA, dependent care FSA, and Lifestyle Spending Account: All active employees working 40 or more hours per pay period in a Full Time or Part Time position are eligible for benefits on the first of the month after hire.
Full Time staff are automatically enrolled in 401A plan as of date of hire.
Life and AD&D insurance: All active employees working 40 or more hours per pay period are eligible for benefits on the first of the month after hire date.
Short-term and long-term disability: All active employees working 60 or more hours per pay period are eligible for benefits on the first of the month after hire date.

Requirements
To be seriously considered for this role, you’ll need to have:
- Education: Bachelors or Associates Degree in Nursing (RN) from an accredited school. NRP, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and S.T.A.B.L.E Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Training at a minimum.
- Experience Have at least 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery Nursing.
- Licenses/Certification: Current Colorado State license or Compact license. Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC – OB) preferred.

- Conduct thorough assessments of expectant mothers, monitor their health and identify any potential risks or complications.
- Provide continuous support by monitoring contractions, fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs.
- Assist the physician during the delivery process to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
- Care for mothers and newborns during the immediate postpartum period. Educating and assisting with concerns and/or complications.
