Job Title: Laboratory Supervisor

Job Type: Full Time

Location: VA Northern California Health Care System

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m

Duties:

  • Oversee laboratory operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Supervise phlebotomists and other laboratory staff
  • Ensure accurate and timely specimen collection and processing
  • Manage laboratory inventory and supplies
  • Coordinate staff schedules and maintain timekeeping records
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs

Qualifications:

  • Education: Relevant degree in laboratory sciences or related field
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a clinical laboratory setting
  • Certification: Appropriate state and/or national certification
