The Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson seeks an experienced Laboratory Supervisor to join their team in Iron Mountain, Michigan.

Full-time Monday-Friday position with start times of 6am, 7am, or as assigned.
What You Will Do.
Oversee quality control, maintenance, inventory, and staffing to ensure smooth lab operations.
Collaborate with hospital leaders and departments to address concerns and implement improvements.
Ensure best practices in pre-analytical processes for quality patient results.
Approve timecards and work with the Lab Manager to meet productivity goals.
Review QA and regulatory reports and provide action steps as needed.
Assist with staff on-boarding, orientation, and training.
Maintain competency in the core lab and cover the bench when needed.
What We Are Looking For.
Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical laboratory experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
ASCP certification or equivalent certification required.
A professional demeanor that ensures trust and competence amongst team members.
Possess a strong supervisory aptitude with a proven track record of success in coordinating/participating in daily operations, tracking performance and process improvement.
Proficiency with computers and basic office software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) including experience with computer-based laboratory information system software.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks/staff simultaneously.
Ability to successfully pass a pre-hire drug screening and background check.
