Landman

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Landman at McDonald Land Services. The Landman will be responsible for tasks such as lease negotiation & acquisition, title research, and due diligence projects.

We have long-term projects with competitive pay! Residents living in the Permian, Eagle Ford, or Haynesville Counties will be given preference.

Qualifications

• Experience in Lease Negotiation & Acquisition, Title research, and Due Diligence projects
• BLM and State Lands experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret legal documents
• Experience determining working interest and burdens associated with mineral interest
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• 5+ years experience in the land services is required
• Bachelor's degree
• AAPL membership required
