Giffels Webster has an exciting opportunity for a Landscape Architect to join our Oakland County office located in Birmingham, Michigan. As a Landscape Architect you will work on high-profile land development projects aimed at enhancing the quality of life in southeast Michigan. This position will be hybrid in our Birmingham, MI office, working 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work as part of a team on various landscaping projects and assist a wide variety of client types from architects, developers, property owners, real estate professionals, lawyers, and municipalities. Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and technical knowledge, attention to detail, problem solving and analytic skills.

Support the development of master plan and site development studies
Conceptual site design
Field verification
3D modeling and presentation images
Product research
Amenity selection
Project cost estimating
Landscape planting plans
Hardscape construction documents

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
You have a degree in landscape architecture from an LAAB accredited university
At least three years of practical experience in related work
Licensed to practice Landscape Architecture in the state of Michigan or currently working through the licensure process.
Must have experience in Adobe software
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in AutoCAD Civil3D
Experience in SketchUP
