Landscape Pricing Analyst

Exterity LLC, a HeartLand LLC company, is seeking a highly motivated and data-driven professional to join our growing Pricing and Analytics team, as a Landscape Pricing Analyst.

The Opportunity

The Landscape Pricing and Analyst consistently performs high quality work in producing accurate and timely estimates for Exterity locations. They must always follow company policies and procedures maintaining all operations and safety standards. In this role you will:

• Perform all aspects of the bidding process, including:
• Quality assurance of property measurement and elevation
• Review and manage bid invitations
• Prepare estimates on a regional and national basis
• Analyze new business opportunities presented by Sales and Operations

• Review completed bids and budgets with President and respective Teams
• Maintain current and accurate information from suppliers and subcontractors
• Proactively communicate and troubleshoot with respective teams as issues arise
• Stay current through continuing education. Specifically, the following three areas:
• Landscaping trends and techniques
• Snow estimating and pricing
• Computer software and technology applicable to role
• Prepare routine estimates and detailed cost estimates for ancillary projects
• Perform all other duties requested by President and assist team with tasks as needed
  
  

If this sounds exciting to you, we are seeking a leader with these qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of industry estimating experience for landscape, irrigation, and snow
• Snow estimating background required
• Proficiency with computer software programs including MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Advanced understanding of cost accounting including budgeted versus actual costs
• Strict attention to detail, with exceptional time management, organizational and follow-up skills, to assure all responsibilities are quickly and efficiently met in a faced-paced environment
• Excellent communication, listening and customer service skills with the ability to make critical judgments and maintain calm demeanor even when confronted with difficult situations
