Lead Clinical Data Manager - Global Pharmaceutical Company - Permanent


Location: Fully Remote (North Carolina-based)

Onsite Requirement: 1 visit per month

Company Size: 6,000 employees

Salary: Competitive Base + Bonus + Long-Term Incentives


We're partnered with an interesting pharmaceutical company who are seeking a talented Lead Clinical Data Manager to work on an exciting phase III Rare Disease study. Fully remote role with 1 visit per month onsite.


Responsibilities:


  • Gathering and structuring data from clinical trials while leading the creation and validation of clinical databases.
  • Creating and implementing the Data Management Plan (DMP) in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilizing your leadership skills to provide expert guidance in clinical data management, ensuring high-quality data outcomes that meet client needs across different therapeutic areas.
  • Guiding the team through all project phases, from planning and execution to close-out, while managing budgets, communication, and key project milestones.
  • Acting as the main liaison between the vendor and the study team, overseeing the completion of all data management deliverables.


Requirements:


  • 10 years of experience in Clinical Data Management, including a minimum of 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in Rare Disease research, within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or pharmaceutical company.
  • Proven ability to present confidently in weekly meetings and work effectively with a global team.
  • In-depth knowledge of data management practices, with a solid grasp of the entire data management lifecycle.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a life sciences or quantitative field is preferred.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational abilities, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
