As the Lead Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for drafting, editing, negotiating, tracking, troubleshooting, and reporting on standard sales and procurement contracts (e.g., NDA, TA, Subcontracts). You will prepare first-draft documents and process consulting agreements and work orders, and review, analyze, and interpret contract terms and conditions while preparing background data on the relevant legal concerns. We need a team player who is eager to strengthen and grow our department and serve as a contractual liaison for both internal and external customers and partners, bringing innovative and reliable ways to improve processes and procedures with results that increase efficiency and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Administer all aspects of contracts from proposal to closeout phases
Maintain an authoritative source of contractual records and documentation database
Serve as a direct point of contact for internal and external customers on contractual matters to ensure timely review and approval/reconciliation of negotiated documents
Proofread and edit contract documents
Interpret and apply established company policies and procedures, as well as laws and regulations, and present risks and recommendations, commensurate with skills, to senior management
Collaborate with project team members to resolve issues promptly and efficiently
Work with project managers to monitor compliance with applicable governmental rules and regulations and project reporting
Review customer-proposed terms and conditions
Take frontline ownership to draft, negotiate, ensure proper execution, and maintain certain types of contract documentation such as NDAs, subcontracts, consulting work orders, Contracting Officer Authorizations (COAs), and teaming agreements (with adequate support and supervision)
Prepare and submit ad hoc and recurring reporting for the company and as required by contract (e.g., IDIQ sales and fee reporting, representations and certifications, service contract reporting, subcontracting, closeout)
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
Minimum 6+ years’ experience in general contracts, including minimum 4+ years working in Federal contracting (from the seller’s side) and with the FAR (DFARS, HHSAR, etc.)
Experience with Government RFPs / RFQs
Experience with administration of IDIQs and IDIQ task orders, including reporting and subcontractor and consulting agreements
Experience working with or for midsize to large Federal government contractors
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to obtain data from multiple sources and help streamline, simplify, and consolidate information
Exceptional proofreading skills
Expert in Adobe Acrobat, MS Office Suite (especially Word, Excel) and ability to master similar productivity tools
Experience with knowledge management and collaboration portals such as SharePoint, Teams
Preferred
Experience and enthusiasm to leverage AI or other tools to automate processes, documentation, and reporting
Industry-relevant certifications, e.g., CCMA, CFCM, etc.
