Role Summary

The Lead Financial System and Process Analyst role is responsible for supporting Buckeye’s General Ledger consolidation and reporting systems processes through administration of the consolidation system and data governance. The role partners with the Finance team and the Buckeye community to ensure proper reporting and data planning for the Buckeye organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include

  • OneStream Application Business Administrator –perform the Application Business Administrator role to support Finance department initiatives for the consolidation application. Includes hierarchy maintenance, audit report reviews, and running consolidation processes.
  • Point-of-contact for Application Data Governance. Candidate will support G/L Governance Manager interactions with the Finance team and other internal customers to develop and support application framework, key reporting, and data configuration.
  • Perform JDE application GL Governance tasks, including maintenance of business units and accounts needed for finance activities.
  • Key liaison with IT team. Candidate will partner with IT to address meet critical business objectives.
  • Contributor in the search for Process Automation opportunities and assist with implementation of projects.
  • Assist with testing around application development, user acceptance, and coordination with Information Technology to ensure completeness and effectiveness of functional and user testing.
  • Perform and review internal controls and account reconciliations related to Governance and other activities to ensure data and systems integrity is maintained.
  • Ad-hoc analysis performed to mitigate financial system issues and provide assurance for various areas of interest.


Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, Information Systems or other related discipline required.
  • 3+ years of progressive professional experience.
  • Exposure to managing application hierarchies and/or reports preferred. Hyperion and OneStream experience a plus.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements (i.e. Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cashflow) and impacts. Management reporting and Consolidation experience is helpful.
  • Prior JDE experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions, complex formulas, pivot tables, etc.
  • Self-starter that can work with minimal supervision


Certificates & Licenses

  • CPA or CIA preferred.

  • Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.


Essential Functions

  • This position requires the ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and or/quantitative productivity standards.
