Lead Mechanic/Technician (Evenings) in Huntsville, TX, US
Supervise a team of technicians to ensure equipment repairs and maintenance are done following safety standards and regulations under the supervision of a Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager. - Responsible for maintaining and servicing chassis (diesel and non-diesel equipment/trucks) and refuse bodywork, which includes hydraulic, electrical, heating, and air conditioning systems. - Identify complex repair issues, provide guidance to other technicians on diagnostic methods, conduct external repair inspections, and optimize repair schedules for workshop efficiency.
Extensive experience in equipment maintenance and repair. - Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations. - Leadership skills to guide a team and offer technical support. - Proficiency in diagnostic techniques and repair scheduling.
