About the Role: As the Lead Process Technician, you’ll play a pivotal role in our operations team, driving efficiency and innovation. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Manage daily startup and troubleshooting of multiple injection molding machines.
Supervise trial runs for new parts.
Diagnose and resolve injection molding process issues to minimize downtime, reduce scrap, and enhance efficiency.
Ensure the smooth operation of critical injection molding tasks.
Perform robotics and mechanical troubleshooting.
Oversee tooling repairs and coordinate with tool shops.
Assist in reviewing tooling design and manufacturability.
Order necessary supplies for presses and mold repairs.
Maintain and update documentation in the ERP system related to schedule changes.
Participate in morning meetings and collaborate with the site leadership team.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Who We're Looking For: We need hands-on candidates who thrive in a team environment, love problem-solving on the production floor, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. Your qualifications should include:
Required:
High school diploma minimum; a degree is preferred.
At least five years of experience in a similar injection molding position, depending on education.
Expert-level injection molding process troubleshooting.
The ability to start up a new mold from scratch.
Hydraulic and basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
