Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Lead Installation Technician (LIT) to provide oversight and direction on the installation of our audio video solutions. As the Lead Installation Technician(LIT), you will be responsible for giving direction to team members and ensuring that your team installs, configures all solutions to customer satisfaction.
Our ideal Lead Installation Technician (LIT) will be detail focused, attentive to client and company needs and can troubleshoot issues quickly and to closure. We are looking for a Lead Installation Technician (LIT) that is motivated to succeed individually and as a team. Ultimately, a top-notch Lead Installation Technician (LIT) will show the ability to lead and motivate small teams, work well under pressure and be an integral part of our growing team.
Primary Essential Job Duties
Set-up, test, calibrate and complete AV/LVC systems
Maintain required daily documentation for all jobs
Read and follow base building and electrical blueprints
Give technical direction to technicians on customer sites
Report any changes or concerns with current projects
Remain safety focused
Regular and predictable attendance as scheduled
Work cooperatively with others
Secondary Job Duties
Train customers on systems as needed

Required Skills And Abilities
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
Ability to work without specific directions
Ability to wire a full-size rack
Critical thinking skills
Ability to lead small groups of technicians
Must be able to pull cable, terminate connectors, mount/rig equipment and rack construction
Ability to work in a fast-paced culture
Ability to travel as needed, up to 50% of time
Present in a professional manner both in office and on a job site
Education And Experience
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license with appropriate driving record
Formal education in electronics or related field preferred
Minimum 1-3 years of installation experience a plus
Experience using AV/LVC and Electronic/Electrical hand-tools
BICSI and manufacturer certifications a plus, but not required
Training Provided (if applicable)
AVIXA CTS Certification
AVIXA CTS-I 6-months
OSHA
Certification to operate boom and scissor lift
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit/stand for prolonged periods of time
Ability to use computer for long periods of time
Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
Ability to bend, squat and kneel
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Ability to climb and work on ladders for extended periods
Ability to pass drug screen and background check
