About the Role:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic Learning and Development team in a unique dual role. In this exciting position, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's L&D and engagement activities.

This role will report to Sr. Manager, Employee Experience & Learning.

This is a full-time role with company benefits based out of Squatch HQ in Marina del Rey, CA. This role has a hybrid policy expectation of at least three days per week working primarily at Squatch HQ.

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $70,000 to $90,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.

What You'll Do:

  • Support with development and delivering impactful training programs:
    • Understanding employee engagement data as it pertains to Learning and Development.
    • Assist Employee Experience & Learning Sr. Manager in L&D program ideation catered to our unique needs at Dr. Squatch.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop engaging and effective learning content.
    • Design and facilitate training programs using various instructional methods (e.g., instructor-led, eLearning).
    • Manage logistics for training programs, including scheduling, registration, and venue coordination (if applicable).
    • Manage eLearning platform requests and users.
    • Develop and implement communication plans to keep learners informed and engaged.
    • Track program completion and feedback to ensure continuous improvement. Analyze data to measure training programs' effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
    • Manage participation in all L&D programming, including but not limited to registration, completion reminders, and training evaluation.
  • Support Company-Wide Performance and Development Milestones
    • Support communication and follow-up with annual performance and development processes such as:
      • Individual Development Plans
      • Annual Performance Reviews
  • Elevating the quality and impact of our L&D materials:
    • Utilize your expertise in Google Slides and design principles to create visually appealing and effective informative presentations and proposals.
    • Apply design best practices to enhance the clarity, engagement, and impact of L&D materials and communication.
    • Internally market and make use of resources we already have available.
    • Stay current on presentation design trends and tools.
About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Human Resources Development, Education, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Learning and Development or a similar role
  • Proven track record of designing, developing, and delivering effective training programs
  • Strong instructional design skills with a focus on adult learning principles
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in Google Slides and design principles are a must
  • A passion for creating succinct yet visually engaging and impactful presentations
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and use it to improve learning programs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Interest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industries
  • Experience working in the consumer products industry is preferred
  • Gets things done without perfect resources is innovative and works with a sense of urgency
  • Has high standards takes ownership and is invested in the outcome
  • Proactively helps others stays positive and has a good sense of humor
