Asset Based Lending is seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning and Development Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the mortgage industry, particularly in hard money lending, and possess prior experience in learning and development. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs across all departments to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.


Key Responsibilities:


Training Program Development:

  • Design and develop training programs and materials that align with company objectives and industry best practices.
  • Create engaging and effective learning experiences using a variety of instructional methods (e.g., e-learning, workshops, webinars, etc.).
  • Continuously update training content to reflect changes in industry regulations, company policies, and best practices.

Facilitation and Delivery:

  • Conduct training sessions for employees across all departments, ensuring a high level of engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Utilize effective training techniques to address different learning styles and levels of expertise.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with department heads and managers to identify training needs and develop customized solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to employees to reinforce training concepts and facilitate continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to integrate training programs with performance management and career development initiatives.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure all training programs comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present reports on training outcomes and ROI to senior management.

Innovation and Improvement:

  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in learning and development.
  • Recommend and implement innovative training tools and techniques to enhance the learning experience.
  • Lead initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the organization.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in training and development are a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in learning and development, with a proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs.
  • Solid experience in the mortgage industry, specifically in hard money lending.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with e-learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and training software.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
