Learning Management System Project Manager Remote (100%)

Responsibilities

• Manages research and development activities relating to the design and development of software or hardware products and qualification or re-qualification of new and existing products. Works with a cross-functional team to ensure fulfillment of product requirements, evaluates product performance and transition products from development to commercialization.
• Assists in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases, and regular corrective service or service pack releases.
• Acts as a technical consultant to the product organization and leads research and prototyping of innovative technologies and products. Ensures the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product/business roadmap. Acts as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development, and requirements. May lead major releases and ensure feature enhancements respond to customer requests. Responsible for product delivery, managing schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development.
  
  

Skills Needed

Scrum Master or Project Management Experience and/or certification

Management of Educational related products, such as a Learning Management System or Student Information System

Experience with Azure DevOps (spring planning, monitoring, backlog refinement, bug tracking, etc.)

7 to 10 years of high-tech industry, product engineering and/or IT work experience.

Experience with managing team(s) responsible for software, hardware design, engineering, and development functions.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related field. Or equivalent
