Legal Assistant
Job Description: The preferred candidate should have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and four years of full-time increasingly responsible professional staff administrative experience. Qualifying full-time increasingly responsible sub-professional, para-professional, or professional experience may be substituted for the required education, on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of four years. The ideal candidate must have experience with property title searches/real estate due diligence matters and research skills. The preferred candidate must also possess skills in data entry, formal letter writing, records management processes, and other general administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities: Researching information using databases, the internet, books and case files in order to prepare files for litigation. Requesting information from internal and external sources in writing or verbally to ensure all relevant information is obtained.
