Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Are you a college graduate interested in working at a law firm? Small employment litigation law firm in Natick, MA is seeking a full time Legal Assistant. The ideal candidate is smart, ambitious, and is interested in growing with us.


The Legal Assistant is responsible for providing support to firm attorneys by performing a variety of administrative duties, operational tasks to support the functioning of the office, and meaningfully assisting with cases. If you have a strong attention to detail, a good sense of humor, are a hard worker and possess the desire to be part of a team, apply today.


Responsibilities/Duties

  • Answer phones; screen and direct calls as appropriate
  • Confer with potential and existing clients to gather factual information
  • Assist in drafting correspondence and documents
  • Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and arrange conference calls
  • Create, revise and proofread letters and various legal documents
  • Perform legal and factual research
  • Create and maintain electronic files
  • Assist with prospective clients
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Support team as needed

Required Skills and Qualities

  • Ability to effectively present information verbally and in writing
  • Skilled typing ability and knowledge of Windows, software, and related applications
  • Proficiency in MS Word
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to use diplomacy and discretion in relaying information
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Can organize, prioritize, plan and multi-task work activities, with the ability to effectively meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
  • Office experience required
  • Full-time, Monday through Friday availability during normal business hours
  • BA/BS required
