Job Details
As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal consultants and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal processes. This position is ideal for someone eager to expand their expertise and grow within the legal industry.
Responsibilities
Client Communication: Manage initial consultations, follow-ups, and ongoing relationships with new clients.
Billing Support: Oversee client billing guidelines and collaborate with the Accounting department to review billing and address any billing deductions.
Client Research: Conduct thorough research to support our legal staff.
Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative assistance to clients and internal teams.
Coordination: Facilitate effective communication between attorneys, accounting, and clients.
Professionalism: Maintain a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Accounting/Business, or a related field.
Experience: At least 3 years as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or in a similar role within a law firm or corporate legal department.
Skills
Expertise in new client onboarding and relationship management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and documentation.
Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
