Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa of Grand Rapids is currently seeking Licensed Massage Therapists. We are searching for excellent therapists who are local to the area, passionate about what they do, and looking for a long-term role in a stable and positive environment with opportunity for growth. You are a critical link in ensuring our mission of making every guest who enters our spa feel special and deliver an experience that is nothing other than outstanding. Your expertise in Massage Therapy and Customer Wellness/Relaxation will make you an important part of our team. We make sure your appointment book is full from day 1, and you will be provided with top quality facilities and supplies to ensure you are extremely successful!

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is a national franchise that specializes in massage, facial, and hair removal services. With over 500 locations, the Hand & Stone brand is a leader with a pristine reputation in the membership-based spa service industry.

Job Responsibilities:

• Use your unique abilities to provide an exceptional experience for members and guests
• Design customized sessions based on client's individual needs and treatment records
• Promote the health and wellness benefits of receiving massage therapy on a regular basis
• Represent the spa with a professional and friendly attitude
  
  

Job Qualifications:

• Compliance with local and state licensing laws and regulations
• Current liability insurance
• Proficiency in Swedish Massage
• Certification in other various modalities preferred (Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Pre-Natal, Craniosacral, Deep Tissue) but not required
• Strong team player with excellent customer service skills and work ethic
• Able to work flexible days and hours including some weekends
• Professional manner, discretion and appearance
• Exemplifies true confidence in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork
