This position offers excellent benefits, opportunities for professional growth, and a competitive salary.Duties:Represent clients in general liability defense, insurance defense, first-party property defense, and commercial litigation cases.Provide clients with advice on litigation risks, potential outcomes, legal rights, and obligations.Evaluate case findings, develop strategies, and prepare arguments for presentation in court.Draft, review, and analyze legal documents, advising on relevant legal issues.Conduct legal research on issues related to corporate law, commercial contracts, and other areas of practice.Prepare for and attend mediations, hearings, and trials as required.Engage in client interactions to resolve issues related to case hearings and legal strategies.Ensure integration of best practices and standards in managing client cases.Prepare and respond to discovery requests in a timely and efficient manner.Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential clients.Meet designated minimum billable time requirements, including managing hours and receivables.Perform additional duties as assigned by the firm.Requirements:3-10 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on general liability defense, insurance defense, first-party property defense, and commercial litigation.Strong experience in client communication, case evaluation, strategy development, and courtroom presentation.Proven ability to draft, review, and analyze legal documents with precision and clarity.Experience in conducting legal research and integrating findings into case strategies.Ability to effectively prepare for and participate in mediations, hearings, and trials.Demonstrated skills in client interaction, problem resolution, and maintaining client relationships.Commitment to meeting billable hour requirements and managing casework efficiently.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.Certifications:Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and be in good standing with the Florida Bar.Skills:Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.Strong analytical and research skills with meticulous attention to detail.Ability to work independently and produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.Proficiency in legal software, including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Westlaw, and time-billing systems.Ability to develop and maintain client relationships, with a focus on delivering high-quality client service.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.Experience:3-10 years of experience in litigation, specifically in general liability defense, insurance defense, first-party property defense, and commercial litigation.A minimum of 5 years of litigation experience is preferred.Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience and contributions to the firm.Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.Competitive 401(k) match to support financial well-being and future planning.Opportunities for professional growth, including access to training and mentoring programs.Paid time off and holidays, along with other benefits designed to support work-life balance.
